Love the Dog !!!! The only way to go.

Even more fun is the shift on the right, brake on the left of the old Euro bikes.

    But I'm a Misfit myself.

I like the 911 gearbox. I sort of learned it first so I naturally revert to that when I go back to driving the E21 during the week. Starting off in 2nd is not unheard of.

I was inspired by the overhead hood shot in the above post, so here's another 69. Homage to originally delivered and ordered versus the above very cool mod car.

I fiddled with the contrast on a pic to come up with this. My point and shoot camera whitewashes everything.

Since this photo was taken, the original orange bar hood crest is back on the car. Sourcing an original style rear view mirror (anyone notice the one in the pic?). I have the one that came on the car, but it's not in the best shape. What's interesting is that it is the original windshield with a later style mirror mounted.

....How did that used H1 lens match -up with your existing original?

It's a perfect match, Cliff. When it eventually cools off in Hotlanta, it's high on the garage to do list.

You can see the differing light patterns in the lenses in the above photo (I will replace the right side lens with the one I purchased from you).

That is a sensational color on a great looking car. Nicely done.

How did you get a circuit like that to yourself for those photos?
