Good points Rob. Another thought I had is if we can spot these flaws just looking at the selling pics, there must be many more things that we don't see.
It'll be interesting to see if this car sells, and if so, for how much.

"Now, to put a water-cooled engine in the rear and to have the radiator in the front, that's not very intelligent." -Ferry Porsche (PANO, Oct. 1973)
Wrong headrests on improperly upholstered sport seats, dealer installed A/C with mismatched Behr vent panel, steel ft. calipers with incorrect ATE Powerslot rotors, rattlecanned undercarriage, engine intermediate shaft stud leaking profusely (probably from pulled threads- makes you question what kind of rebuild was done?), nasty looking heat exchangers (soda blasting works wonders), etc, etc.
The electric window option is cool but dollars to donuts the LSD is gone.
$52K????? Sounds like Nick is trying too hard to recover from that Speedster loss.
$40-45k would be a gift.

I keep a registry of 1972 and 1973 2.4 S coupé chassis. Infos always welcome!!!
I don't get it. Why re-hash these old threads? The link to the EU add is also ancient. ????

GONE...MANY, many great ones....
It's the Registry aspect of this group at work. We talk about how much this or that is worth, what is correct, what a great modification looks like, 'hey, did you see this?', all the rest.
But we also track the cars, bump them with important numbers like Rick did. People chime in on the latest.
To me, it's one of the more interesting aspects of the forum.
As another observation, the COA is signed by Richard Ford. He left PCNA almost 10 years ago. OK, maybe and old COA?

Hey, Stace . . .
No cause for alarm --- Bryce's got it
I've been going back and reading all the old posts, starting w/ General Info . . . some really interesting/valuable/funny stuff + characters, Back-in-the-Day. Some cr@p, too --- one of the old links had actually turned into a porn site . . . but I'm soaking-up the stuff on our site, maybe firing-up a few old threads as I go
Like. When I come across a car w/ an un-posted VIN --- I tag it w/ 'reference'
Didja notice a recent thread asking about the earliest '73? . . .
http://www.early911sregistry.org/for...very-1973-911S
Well --- this's the 22nd one, going by the VIN . . .
Anyway . . . why?
'Member that kid, a week back . . . looking for his Gramma's '69?
He came here . . . looking
I want there to be others coming here --- finding
And I want to make that 'finding' easier . . . one post, one thread, one VIN at a time
I've written this before . . . .
I want this site --- our site --- The Early 911S Registry --- to be THE 1st/easiest/most informative/best place for things Early 911
Call it 911-ology
