Hell Yeah !! GBK
Hey Guys !! Sorry for the lapse in reporting !! Mr Laws has put two coats of blocking primer on the car. Slow meticulous work !!
Any updates, George?
I'm dyin', here
I just asked my wife, "How come George's wife Susan found him a 911S in a driveway and a 51 Coupe?"
She then showed me pics she had saved for me on Pinterest. Thoughtful but not the same. I'm hoping Susan can teach a class on "Wife Porsche Hunting" at the next Registry holiday. Don't let her get away George!

Hey Guys and Adam !! Sorry for the delay in updates. Thanks Adam for the kind words about my wife, Susan. Well, she worked her magic again and I now have the original engine to my 1955 Porsche 356. She convinced the longterm Texan owner of it to finally sell and here it is !! I drove it back to Tennessee last week and is now nestled next to her womb. Susan is the BOMB !!
Hey Guys !! Now, back to the 911. Mr Laws has been busy the past few months finishing a Austin Healey 3000 for its 80 year old second owner. Back to the body with bumper work. Now back from the blaster and ready for finishing coats. Getting closer to paint. Thanks for watching this thread !! George
George,
Congratulations on finding the original engine for the '55! You'll have to tell me the story some time.
Give me a heads up next time you come to "the shop"
Bryce
George what a great thread. Just ran across it last night. Nice work. Been lurking around but never post. My 70T is pretty close to the same progress as yours. What is Mr Laws going to do about the space created by the washers. Will you be using the tape between the body and fender? What color and product will you be using? Here are couple pics of mine. Sorry for the side ways pics but not sure how to change.
Hey Guys !! Nice weather here in Tennessee today so I checked on the car. The front bumper is stripped and straightened. Please note the seam where the two pieces are attached.
