    Thumbs up

A local L.A. Porsche friend of mine said he once owned a 73S also ordered in 'Leaf Green' ....

Man, wonder where that car is today... and if it was kept the original color.....

    Boy oh boy......

    Velvet Green . . .

Tom Fender's 67S on page 34+ of the September 2013 issue of Esses has my interior color I believe.

I still have to get a COA for the car. Not sure what it will say . . .

Spotted this very clean, well maintained, and highly original '69 912 in the rare color of "golden green" at EASY last Saturday. It's a striking, sensational shade of brilliant green that'l have you reaching for your sunglasses the moment the sun breaks out…….so it's really not a matter of spotting it, it sort of hits you and you can't miss it.

I hesitated to post the attached photos because some skeptics posted that they didn't think it was Golden Green ( No. 621675 ), but doing some checking and research has convinced me that it indeed is.

Featured only once before ( post # 109 ) but I don't think the color is well represented in that post………...it's much brighter than that.

    Wow, golden green is awesome.

I had no idea how many greens there were. Really astounding.

with the paint formula's used today, we are just not getting the same results that the factory got back in the day. Back then some colors were much more brighter and I dare say lighter in tone for the same shade ordered today. The paints have been messed with so much with the EPA standard and VOC regs.It seems to me a lot of today's paint jobs are too dark. Chris
