I recently picked up an unrestored 1969T engine with transmission.
    Never been apart and runs.

was pulled from a wreck in 1970 with approx 7000 miles on it.
    Been in storage ever since.

Could have some interesting original features worth noting.

Interesting that this one has vented rear brakes. Was that a 69T option.

I am restoring a survivor 60k miles 1969. So far everything mentioned checks on this super original car. Motor mounts are painted black as are trans mounts, torsion covers rear and sway front cover.

It also has the S drilled light flywheel. also vented brakes which I previously thought was not an option. F&R factory sway bars. Coa lists leather interior, but that is wrong.

Have the same issue with light grey headliner, anyone know where to get one ?. COA lists S trim. Antenna ,speaker, sways.
Antenna on drivers side. June. 69 build. Also has S gauges, not listed on COA.

But the fog lights ,correct for 69 style are not on COA. Wondering if the original owner did some upgrades, also has a mark 10 ignition. came with Oem sugars in h4, plus h1s on the the car. Very early set H1s with raised Bosch letters. A Becker Mexico and the orig blauplnkt unit in a box, also has a Nardi wheel and orig vdm wheel in a box, near new condition. A box of receipts from AV Porsches dealer, but very hard to read well. Oem shift kinob on it,but a receipt for a wood knob from house of customs in so cal.

Starting to wonder if the orig owner was just an enthusiast that added a few personal options. Was a pilot, so likely could afford to have some things personalized.

Is the COA known as totally accurate ?, or is there some things that get missed. The sways appear orig to me as the stone guard spray pattern in the rear looks like it is original. Other things may be more suspect I suppose.

Thanks for noticeing the vented rears!

The car must have had S rear vented rotors as an option. The oil tank also has a sending unit which was an S option along with S oil gauge.

    I have two 1969T tubs.
Both have provisions for rear sway bars.
One tub came with the S oil gauge still in it.

On another note, the 1969 912 did not had access to the option 9076 "comfort equipment" aka "appereance group" aka S-trim package..reserved only for 1969 911T. Also many trim/equipemt options for T, E, S were not available for a 1969 912.

This may not have anything new but it is a the Porsche press release handout at the launch of the 1969 model in the UK, the source reproducing it is dated Autumn 1968. Had it among my old Porsche paperwork and content seems to fit this thread:

Hope it is of interest to those who follow the 69 model year

    Thanks, Steve.

I think I may have a version of this document as well.

It even has the incorrect fuel flow diagram per the factory like yours does.

The "500 cycle horn" callout is a new one for me.

The fuel circuit is correct, just ignore the orientation of the filter housing and go by the cast -in directional arrows.

    Hi BEH,
While I'm no expert on that year model nor car horn design I was suprised at 500 cycle comment as the Bosch fanfare appears to have a different spec in that regard, as shown in this advert from 1969 chrisophorus published around same time in August 1969 edition. 630 and 735 Hertz are also the spec in the 1972 Bosch technical catalogue for 1972 so maybe press release is referring to some other horn for that Lux variant?
