Thread: Got my Kardex, can anyone help me with the translation?

Got my Kardex, can anyone help me with the translation?

I just got Kardex's for several of my early Porsches.
Since I also have COA's on most of them it was easy to figure out the additional details.

But I don't have a COA for this 1969 911E so I was hoping someone might be able to translate it for me. I understand the delivery details, engine number, etc… It is the options that I don't know, except the obvious ones like 100L gas tank, antenna and speaker.

9046 - transmission related or potentially leather interior related (see below posts)
9368 - special paint (your metallic blue)
    9236 - Sport Seat left
    9237 - Sport Seat right
    9347, 48, 50 - Tinted glass all around
9337 - under bumper white fog lights (your single dash switch)
    9431 - antenna
    9131 - 100l tank
9435 - Radio suppression kit (when no radio was installed by factory)
    9437 - loudspeaker in dash
0002 - home market car (Germany)

Some kardexes will show hand written notes for radios installed after delivery. Yours didn't come with one originally

    I think 9046 might be:
    9046 LD-Ausst. > Leder Ausstattung > Leather equipement

    BTW I checked 1967 RoW/US, 1968 US/RoW and 1969 US accessories brochures and they dont list 9046.
9031, 9034, 9035, 9036, 9043 is for Transmission. 9xxx is "Basic equipment". 9291 is "Genuine leather interior except upper door rails and pockets". maybe 9046 is something else.

home market car (Germany) above is right, it means in detail:
0002 KFZ. Brief >Kraftfahrzeugbrief > (german) car registration paper

    Karim,
9046 is confusing to me. It is grouped in the option codes for transmission.

Yet, 9076 is T Comfort Group, so maybe it is interior related?
But on this car, it's hard to see where any leather exists as the seats are not leather and the 9822 interior code does not call out leather.

I will edit my LSD reference in original post. Limited slip is in fact 9146...

    Note to la Brooks :
My name is Gosta from Belgium.
Could you please tell me exactly how you got the Kardex and who could provide it (tel or email)
I am in the buying process for a 1969 911 2.0 and we have doubts about the right colour as sometimes data on COA are not allways accurate.
    Thx a lot !
