This door panel is from a very early 1969 911T with 9922 interior code. Is it standard or possibly special:
Not sure why this shows upside down sometimes, but not always.

Right side up attempt...
Maybe the 22, 21, etc stood for a specific style to the custom interior.
From other threads on the topic, 21 could have been standard material, custom color.
From this pic, 22 could have been standard color, custom stitching.
I don't have anything in my lit cache that goes into this so it's all conjecture (which is probably what is driving you crazy)
Never seen that door panel on a 69....Isnt that a short hood door panel? Rest of the pieces looks corrcet.
Just noticed no hole for the turn knob for the door lock in the panel(for a short hood)??

Early 911S Registry #931

2005 997 C2S Coupe special 1965 slate grey
1978 911 3.0 SC Targa Silver w/chrome trim
Like I said, it is VERY early 1969. They could have used leftover 1968 parts. The factory has not been able to tell me anything about the 99xx codes yet. The 98xx interior codes are pretty well defined however. Please post some photos of other 1969 parts, or even some 1968 parts. Let us compare them, and hopefully figure out what the codes mean. Better yet, if you know the interior code for the car, and can post photos to match then that would be the best result.

Looks like their we're few options but is this car a similar year of manufacture?
I have not seen another car with my door cards yet so I'm hoping someone else can throw some light on it...
Appreciate your help Dave....lee
Guys.. ive spent hours looking at interior pictures on other cars including 69 cars and have not seen anything like what is installed on my car, I can only assume that it is in fact special interior 9922.. it certainly looks original and not recovered....
its a shame no one else has the same interior with a kardex the same or some kind of history from the Factory.
Thanks for your help and guess I will have to wait and keep watching the registry just incase something turns up.
I had door panels just like those on my 81 Turbo. Somebody probably updated your interior.
