    Last year in April a story I did on my friend Charles (Coop) Cooper that ran in Excellence magazine. In it was a photo he shot of Siffert with Liane Engemann. I had initially be unable to identify her but discovered who she was at the 11th hour. I quickly relayed the information to the editor but he didn't receive it in time to make the addition to the story… it ran with the caption; Jo Siffert with friend (unidentified).

    I was mortified.

    I've been working on a new, soon to be published story and have been working with Michael Keyser who is a very interesting chap and has helped me a lot. I told him what happened with Coops Siffert photo and he showed me his shots…

    Very cool. Engemann was quite a racer -- and easy on the eyes.
