Selling my vintage 911S race car. This is a true S with a correct single plug FIA 901/02 motor, not numbers matching but very close. Weber 40 IDA carbs, rebuilt top end (<6 hours since), 901 gearbox, Stinger exhaust from European, dual front radiator style oil coolers, and a brand new Fuel Safe bladder. Fully prepped and ready to enjoy, this car needs absolutely nothing to be raced. Upon purchasing the car, we stripped it to bare metal and replaced the fiberglass panels with the original steel pieces (excluding bumpers). The car is straight, true, and rust free. The rear window is glass (tinted with no defroster) as is the windshield, rear quarters, and front wing windows. The interior is spotless and includes a period cirrect cage, full S gauges, Racemark steering wheel, Speedster passenger seat, and a FIA driver's seat. There is a full fire system as well.

307647S was imported to the United States through the Port of Jacksonville by Porsche’s Southeast Distributor, Brumos Porsche. It was a low option car and was finished in Polo Red (I have a copy of the Kardex). 307647S eventually ended up in California where it became a race car. It was successfully raced without being badly damaged or significantly modified. When purchased by me in 2010, the car was stripped to bare metal and repainted in its original Polo Red. The original steel panels were used and the car was returned to a period race car configuration. The FIA race prepared single plug 2.0 liter has been dyno’d at 201 horespower at the crank. The motor was originally built by Mike at JB Racing in Tavares, Florida. Bruce at Klub Sport rebuilt the top end and tuned the carbs upon my purchase. In this configuration, 307647S is a welcome addition at vintage events throughout the United States and Europe.

Nice! 100hp/L is pretty impressive from single plug, any details on the engine spec?

I have a spec sheet back at the shop. Alot of time was spent with the cams and getting that right. It is a 10.5:1 compression ratio. Also, some work was done on the crank, heads, etc.

    Keith,

Lovely car. There is a thread running on the Aussie section for cars which meet our Historic racing rules. Your car does and I hope you don't mind that I have posted it over there too.
    Cheers, Ryan

    Nice car, Keith.

I just saw it in the Vintage Motorsport 2012 Annual (magazine). It was from last year's SVRA 12 Hours of Sebring race weekend.
