    price check please..

    Hey guys new here but not new to porsche. I have a lead on a 1970 911s that needs resto but doesn't look so bad. Owner claims its a numbers matching. 61k miles, I attatched some pics can you guys please advise what you think value is as it sits.

    1970 911S engine number should be in this range...6300001-6302480

    Then # I was given wasn't case # I guess. Where exactly is case # located? Any idea what value is as it sits . Hasnt ran since 92.

    The engine number you posted is for a '67 911 Normale. The engine number is stamped on the block near the base of the fan on the right side.

    Get these numbers from your pic:
    Red equals engine number, black is engine type and sequential case stamping.
    Half the value of this car will be in the correct S engine
