    1967 911 S from Venezuela - My first 911/Restoration

    Hello,

About a couple of months ago I bought a 1967 911 S in Caracas, Venezuela. I am 19 years old and I started the car restoration about a week ago. I have been a Porsche addict since I was very young, so 3 years ago I started looking for a classic Porsche and ended up spending all my savings in this very special car. The car was in good shape but still needed restoration, so I decided to start my first complete restoration in my dad's shop. Its original color combination is Aga Blue with Red interior, even though it was changed to Silver/Black before I bought it. Im restoring it to factory specifications. I have done a lot of research but there is always something new to learn. We have done a lot of work in the past months, and recently we have changed the floor pan. We are also planning on changing the wiring harness, and I am trying to find the correct gauges for a 67S at a reasonable price or even trading them for the ones it currently has. I have been posting in Pelican Parts ( http://forums.pelicanparts.com/porsc...storation.html) but now I will be posting here. Hope you enjoy!

Glad you made it over here, I think this site will be a better resource for your early car than the Bird.

Very pleased to see all of these introduction threads lately. They make for the best reading.

Welcome -- this is the place for answers on your car.

Please share the story of how you found it. There are not that many of these cars in South America.
