Some pics from that amazing race .... and Happy New Year to everybody!
I don't know , if the video has ever been posted on this forum before. But I thought i'd repost the above photo of the Porsche Club Romand (suisse) RSR entry # 113 at the 1973 Targa Florio with pilotes Peter Zbinden & Mario Ilotte . Which put in a fine 8th overall finish (2nd group. 4). I believe this is RSR 911 360 0960.
Along with the info. / link to find and view an interesting , short , on-board camera movie of one of them at this race. You can see the on-board camera present in the photo.
(I don't know how to insert a direct working link, but if you copy this below. And do a search with it . You will find the video) :
" YouTube - camera car Porsche n.113 Targa Florio 1973 "
From the intial title graphic's , it would seem the this footage is from a Suisse television documentary. I would be interested in obtaining a copy if any are in existance , as i'd like to view more. And see whatever else is filmed. I'm sure it was very interesting . If anyone has access , or knows anything about it. Please post.

This should be the car that you were talking about...at the Targa Florio 1972
During the making of ....
...and during the race.
The cars in the pictures have the same race #(23) but they seem to be slightly different, isn't it?
That's a different car. It's Michael Keyser taking footage for "The Speed Merchants" film. The two cars in the pictures are different by the way. The one with the camera is the T car used to recce the circuit while the other is the team's full race 2.5 ST. It was also the only 911 to finish Le Mans that year.
The 1973 TF footage is terrific and can be found at http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=KUSmzCVVlDw. Thanks for sharing!

Here's a nice little sequence of photos of one of the Aussie ST's. Bill Brown at Warwick Farm in 1970.

A pic from the fantastic rallying article in the current issue of Hemmings Sports & Exotic Feb 2011. The Lancia/Pirelli 1000 in Marquette Michigan 1976. This is Bob Hourihan with co-driver Steve Ruiz of Rolling Hills Calif in a '71 911 on a tarmac stage run through a campground! John Buffum was also there in a 73RS (I believe this was originally Zasada's car). Both cars DNF'd.
Is it a real ST? Where is it now?
