    Auction Description:

The example on offer here, Chassis # 9110301644, according to its Porsche Certificate of Authenticity, was produced on August 1st, 1970 as a Silver Metallic (8080) over Black Leatherette example. The options recorded were US Equipment, Comfort Package, Blaupunkt Radio Frankfurt, and Tinted Glass. The engine number on the COA, 6302248, is also the same number stamped on the engine and the car is indeed a numbers matching example. It is thought to be a three owner car with some California history. By 2004 the car received a comprehensive nut and bolt restoration by a marque expert as evident by the quality and extent of the restoration. It is obvious through inspection that all of the little nuances that make a restoration great on one of these cars are present. Everything from the correct undercoating color, cadmium plated hardware and many little items that add up to exactness, exactness that only a professional could understand and portray in his craftsmanship.
The time to invest in a quality Porsche has never been better. There is no doubt that this is an opportunity for the serious collector looking to acquire a great 911S. Complete with Jack, spare, some documentation, manual and Porsche COA.

    Auction Description:

Originally delivered new to Portugal, this stunning 2.4S is finished in its original colour scheme of blue and has a contrasting black interior. Fitted with additional driver’s lights and fitted with a sunroof this car looks striking from every angle.

This matching numbers example is described by the vendor as being in excellent condition in every respect.

Most discerning investors should note that this is an original European car and not an American import. These highly sought after German sports cars of this model are rare to find and still provide the discerning owner and exciting drive.

The current Italian owner purchased the Porsche in 1991 in Switzerland and embarked on a comprehensive restoration from 1996 to 1999 as per the factory specification and colours. Entrusted to Italian specialists, using original Porsche parts, the work included returning the car to its original colour of light ivory and completely refurbishing the engine (see documentation on file). Since the restoration's completion, the car has covered only some 1,600 kilometres and has never seen rain; it has also been maintained properly . . .'
