    FS: @Artcurial - 1973 2.4S - Irish Green

I remember seeing this car during restoration a few years back. A very solid car coming from Sicily.
Rare colour combo, would be interesting to see how much it brings.
Will be sold at the Artcurial auction during the Retromobile auto show next month. Estimate €165-185k

'. . . This car was sold new in Italy by the Porsche dealership of Verona, in early 1973 and has benefited from a very rigorous maintenance by its three successive owners. In 2009, a restoration was carried out by "Carrozzeria Bottini", a Porsche specialist, resulting in what is qualified as concours condition. The Fuchs rims have been redone, all replaced parts come from Porsche, and the amount of work totaled up to € 32,000. More recently, the mechanicals have been serviced by the Saarbrücken based Porsche specialist Dr. Wagner, and the invoices are available. The car is equipped with new Michelin tyres. This is an absolutely wonderful example with an almost brand new original interior. Its color is extremely rare and so 1970s! This is a rare opportunity to acquire a 911 with a continuous history and which has always been carefully maintained . . .'

Exactly 16% fee plus 20% VAT on the fee = 19,6% to be paid by the buyer. On top of that they ask a fee to be paid by the seller. Do not remember precisely how much, but I remember that between what the buyer pays and what the seller gets there is a difference of about 30%.......
Note that RM and Bonhams most likely provide results fee included but VAT excluded.
