Anyone else get an unsolicited email from someone who doesn't show up in the current registry pdf, trolling for cars to buy (and in turn sell)? Meaning a dealer?
I *hate* this, if it is in fact someone "cold calling" on members.

I got one, i think from Texas, today
i have had the same, i think from same place, in the past at least once but a while ago.
given that i am in Australia it is an easy thing to spot and delete immediately without reading (hence i am light on the detail of what was sent)

Yes, get this email about 4 or 5 times a year from the same guy.
Always looking for the same cars.
You know, the ones everyone else is looking for.
He will never get my attention.
Basically trollling to flip. Have zero to less than zero time for these types.
Used to get the same , but in the form of postcards sent out by guys from Texas looking to buy cheap and desirable sport bikes that would get flipped and sent back to Japan. The guys got the info from DMV as to who had what bikes......... my neighbor had 4 early Honda 4 cylinder sport bikes that I also collected and I told him that should he ever decide to part with one.....( hey , I am NOT greedy) to let me know. Came home from work in the field one day and see this 30 foot gooseneck trailer stuffed with motorcycles on a dually Chev tonner.
I asked my neighbor how much he got for the 4 and he said 800 bucks ! I told him I would have given him 3 times that for just one bike if he would have called me first like I thought he said he would. He just stood there slack jawed thinking to himself am sure , " but this nice guy from 1200 miles away sent me this postcard ~~~"

Sorry guys, I got one as well....
We'll try to see if we can stop this...
I believe we've only been hit twice, and that's not too bad for a pubic forum of a public club.......
I havn't checked if there's an 'opt-out' button for any further email on this one... if so, opt-out...
Sorry again,
Chuck

Ok, I'm game, I write for the magazine, can everyone sell me their car for half price?
Just kidding.

I got the same email today. This guy is not highly regarded here in Texas for the quality of the cars he sells, yet they are always at premium prices.
How did he get the email distribution list? Is he a member of the site and just uses the yearly membership roster? If so, I think he should be refunded his dues and banned as this is the second time he has pulled this stunt.
@72tii Off topic, but judging from your handle, I gather you own a '72 tii apart from an early 911. Me too. Here's mine:
