I think I know the look you are after, go with the cocmats.com new ones and get the "Sisal" material in #44 color (tan/lt) and have it trimmed in black with black heel pad. They will also make you a center tunnel piece that goes around the shifter. I also tried to look for new old stock and it just doesn't exist, but I am very happy with the new mats. Here is a pic pf my 914 drivers mat in this color combo. Hope this helps!

Thanks for the posts and mfitton for the photo. Seems like best way to go. Can anyone post a picture of a coco mat that is original to their car? Just curious how it compares to current ones.

Well these mats were bought in the late 70's and I was told they are Coco Mats but can't confirm this. Maybe someone can.CocoMats1.jpgCocoMats2.jpg

Back then differnet brands existed, with not just one design.

BTW, Cocomats.com is now able to furnish ALSO the rear hump/tunnel piece.
I know because they just sent me their first one, I gave them mesurements.

Here is what I have in my archive, I assume these are all period ones.
