read this thread about 0810. From what is stated here I don't think the "Hong Kong" car is really 0810. http://www.early911sregistry.org/for...ght=9113600810
interesting, ex-Schewe cars seem to multiply easily... (no offense to mr Schewe to be clear)
still puzzled about the white one though.
edit : the fact that they chose to 'create' the chassis number on another shell, implies that somewhere the real shell of 0294 is still 'alive' and will almost certainly popup someday, given the value of these cars today.
The pictures of the accidents that were posted here show that the car was not that badly damaged that the original number (and even the whole car) would not be usable anymore. Back then they wouldn't have gone through the trouble of repairing such an accident, but today, people start from worse cars than that.
He seems to have left a yard full of crashed cars.
Not sure if this is car in post #1002 (still) for sale but posting picture of this blue RHD touring that has has same registration
Iirc a blue RS with that registration plate appeared on a display at Goodwood Festival of Speed a while back with a garish white side decal.
This picture below taken was late 80s picture from a reliable source document and has a 87 Camera date stamp. Car at that time was appearing in a PCGB concours event; owner stated as Paul Edwards a well known Porsche racer / specialist in UK.
Thought posting picture might be of interest to folks who track these RS or might be useful to the current owner.

Also don't know if for sale but posting just for reference and maybe of interest to their current owners
Pictures are from the late 1980s M471 RS from a reputable source document and originally taken by a highly respected RS expert (the perspective is distorted by the curve in paper not by the original photographer! )

Offered for sale in London Classic Car Show
Asking £450k ~$560k
From photos some discrepancies for a car claiming to be "correct in every detail" -- also other less obvious details not as original: E.g. Appeared to have a single bench seat in rear or maybe one piece carpet. Was this original?
Not mine, no affiliation
Apologies: Poor quality pictures that need reorientation
thanks Steve
interesting  it now has an engine with the right numbers
when i first started tracking this car in about 2004 it had an 80's slant nose turbo body on it (done in Japan) and a 1978 turbo engine
last time I saw it for sale 1n 2013 this was the description of the engine "A correct OEM 911/83 7R RS engine casing was located as the basis for its meticulous, blueprinted, and balanced engine rebuild, as per factory specification"
now it looks numbers matching.....................
