Screeching/groaning steering wheel?

Nothing like a good skirl to get your attention.

Jim, it was indeed the bagpiper as pictured. The gentleman pictured decided to stow away in my steering column playing a skirl reminiscent of Danny Boy all the way home.

But seriously, the horn ring is now pretty grooved. I popped off the momo prototipo with a 27mm socket. (I now have three 27mm sockets after buying before looking). I put some bearing grease on the copper ring. The groan/squeak is gone. Forgot to try the horn.

Likely the Chanter reed. Probably a humidity issue.
