Sorry I wasn't clearer; my point was that ANY car that needed a mirror on the right side got Durants. That includes RHD cars as well as those with the dual mirror option. I think the code for mirrors on both sides was 261.
One of the niicest and good looking RS i have seing. It looks similar to the one at Renn Reunion.
As there were only around 11 RHD RSs in Black, it would seem unlikely there would be two RHD ones in the US.
However this is likely a different car.
The car for sale at Rennsport in 2011, was #1288, and had Red wheels, Touring Front and Rear Bumpers, Driving lights, and unusual grey/fawn cloth seat inserts. It also had Left and Right rectangular mirrors, although I am sure Jeff is correct that
Durant mirrors were originally fitted to all RHD cars, and all cars with two mirrors.
Also, the car n shots from Nick seems to have a different finish on the wheels on the left to the right.
Probably very correct, since i just admired the RS at RennSport, but it was RHD correct ! So with a few diffrences, these would be the only 2 RHD in the US.
there were 2 rhd Blacks cars in the USA a little time back - msroad&race owner and mine.
harvey w wheels so its the photo not the wheels.
car in houston with me - in my long term ownership since 92/3 mine is the 3rd black rhd
