Hmmm. I was very pleasantly surprised by the Hoosier TDS tires, but I don't know if they are streetable. Michelin used to make a Pilot Sport Cup in 225/50-15 which worked well on 7 and 8 x 15 wheels. Jon

Jon is right, those Hoosiers are really good,
i run them on 7 & 8 x 15. but run a 245/45-15 on the 8".
Hans
Hans, do you run the 225 on the front with 7" wheels?
John
Nope.Quote:
did Dave ever tell the story about his HOA?
I'm just not sure if I can fit that under my flares... I was just looking at them. I have the same wheels on my 911 so I may swap them back and forth to see what I come up with. That has 195/65-15 up front and 215/60-15's in the back.
@john,
i run 225/50 on 7 in the front/ 245/45 on 8 in the rear,
@eric,
they will fit, i even run spacers in the rear......
Hans
The Hoosiers I ran at Rennsport (on 7 & 8 x 15 fuchs) are Hoosier "Street TD*S" sized 225/45-15 front and 245/45-15 rear. I think the 245's might work slightly better on 9" wheels ....
Are you having rub problems on the inside with your tires?

looks fine to me and fits
@jon,
thats why i need spacers
Attachment 206718
so is this one raj,......
That one's begging for a new alternator! :D
Something about my flares I guess. They're factory flares and I welded the entire quarter on the car, never thinking about fitment. I have a good 1.5" on the inside... not much on the fender side. Lips are rolled as well. I was thinking of having Harvey do up a set of 8.5's to see if I could pull the edge off the outside a tad.
Hans, question for you. I noticed a plate on the Brumos car for the CDI boxes. Anybody have a template around for that? I'd like to hang mine off the battery tray like that.
