Yes Raj, the yellow one seems to be accurate. Especially shown in the second picture. You can see the paint but, then you can clearly see a thicker tar around the dome of the strut top. The tangerine looks a little off or, at least like none I've seen before.

Raj, both cars really nice and yep, yellow shock towers are correct and butt ugly just like they came from Porsche. Mechanics out there can vouch for what a pain that tar is to remove from the bolts to do camber/caster adjustments.
BTW: Have you rebuilt those Konis yet in the Tangerine car? You will...

Front shock tower treatment on #9141430354 as applied in May 1971 (build date) at the factory.

Yup... perfect. There may be hope for mine yet. Just need to find the thicker stuff to slather on the top portion.

Thanks Eric. It sure would be nice if I could get some dimensions of that piece. I could fabricate that myself. Where does the "foot" sit when propping up the lid and then stowed when shut?
