We have all the 4 previous German owners recorded and believe it was originally ordered as a US spec car probably for a US serviceman who backed out as the car wasn't registered til April 71 by the Glockler Frankfurt dealer although it was a June 1970 build. It was first sold to a local doctor there. We will respect the original paint ( for now ) :)
It is refreshing to see it in all it's warts including the plugged hole where the rear fog light originally sat. This will be a labor of love to bring it back mechanically as it sat for a decade. We were very fortunate to find this example.
