My experience in the past year- range $20,000 for a beater needing much work to $90-100,000 for an all original low miles show car. See Haggerty price valuation tool. Good unadulterated ones are very hard to find. Conversions from 4 cylinder vin cars aren't of long term collector value in my opinion.
Here's what Haggerty shows as of today but I don't believe the high end is represented from private sales this year with unrecorded figures and I don't believe their graph is updated.
stock 914-6 prices have been increasing at steady rate , several have sold over the 75 k mark over the past year, some of the special 914-6's collectors price the most( early production cars under # 52, cars with honest race history have gone into the stratospear. they are out there but tightly held on to
on the other hand 914-4 converted are fun drivers and not worth much in the collectors world as the cars really respond to modifications
I would suspect that the gap between 914-6 and a 911 will never be closed to the extent that rarity might suggest it should, given the stepchild aspect of the 914, as well as it's controversial looks - which I happen to really like.

Funds finally made it to Texas, Kent will be leaving for Huntington Beach in a few minutes. Weather looks good, should be nice (1000 mile) trip.
