Meh, not a heated lot
The Willow Green sold for $130K.....
Don't quite understand the $45K difference between the 2. Granted, willow green is a special color, but IMHO so is metallic green.
Bryce, did you get a chance to view these two up close?
Excellent 6's are north of $100K...

Hey Bill, Yes I did. Sequence wise the rotation across the block left them out from under me so I didn't spend any lengthy time in and around them.
The Willow Green paint was spectacular though. It drew a crowd pre-auction. The car showed very well.
I opened up the engine bay for one guy who was very interested and claimed he owned a Willow Green 14 back when new so maybe he was the high bidder.
To be honest, I didn't even notice the other 14 in the lineup so maybe that says it right there.
Rare shade wins the day!

P.S. But I did get to drive Seinfeld's 997 RS 4.0 across the block! We have similar tastes in music

When you buy the metallic green car and absolutely do nothing to it, the auction speaks...
I know that car and last few years history. Nice car but detailing it only doesn’t make you a ton of money...
An outlier does not set the bar.
This should be interesting to watch at the RM auction in Paris this February 2019.....Porsche 916 prototype 'Brutus' #9141430195 is for sale. This was Corina Piëch's (Ferdinand Piëch's wife) personal car.
