    Hi all,
This is the car that started it all for me.. Belongs now to my lucky brother. Will start to casually look for some US history on this car because I know he would appreciate knowing a little more about where it came from.

    Thanks Max!
Going through my old files now and will upload more pics soon.

The car was 80´s red (surprised ) when it arrived Norway, but I have no pictures of it in red. I have the California plate, but believe it came to Norway from Texas.

    Hi Radmund,

I am the original owner of 9111200379.

I purchased the car from Gineris Porsche Audi in Albuquerque, New Mexico on August 26, 1971. I had a specific model and set of options in mind, and Gineris found what I wanted in California. They picked-up the car from Bob Smith Porsche Audi, Hollywood, CA and drove it to Albuquerque. Gineris added an air conditioner before delivering the car. The original color was light yellow, a special order color at the time.

In 1973 I moved to San Jose, California and took the car with me. On September 13, 1974 at Wester Porsche Audi, Monterey, CA I traded the E for a new 1974 911 Carrera which I have today. The E had about 32,000 miles on it at the time.

After That I lost track of the E.

I do have the original papers for the '71 E, including Owners Manual, Window Sticker, Sales Contract, Maintenance Book, etc. I will send scans of several of the documents to your email address, but I need a mailing address so we can re-unite the papers with the car. It appears the E still has its original engine.

    Best Regards,
    Joe Hartman
