    2014 Historics ... What's happening?

I'm still on the fence as to whether or not I will be going to the Historics this year.

What are your plans? What events are worth going to? Should I bring the wife?

It used to be so much simpler when I was 22 ... no planning needed. Just gas up and go.

    Marco,

    - All venues will be celebrating and featuring Maserati in it's centennial year....... On the track, Pebble Beach, Concoso, Quail, ....everywhere
    - Concorso will be on Sat. this year and back at the Black Horse Golf Course about 7 miles up the coast in Marina CA....

    - We are hoping for MUCH more per-registration for Friday's Werks Reunion to help make it a success ....

Stay tuned for more Registry info on the Werks Reunion event..........

    I'm thinking about going.
Is there a hotel were the group is staying?
Are there any group rates for lodging?

I'm going to the track for 3 days and will be staying in Monterrey for a few days leading up to the the track. It's always worth going to the track man. The Quail and Pebble are easy enough to pass on give the big chee$e to get in but there are always plenty of other events.

Make a family vacation out of it!

    Does the wife like cars?

The auctions are fun but the Historics is by far my favorite event.

Looking forward to the Werks Reunion event!

This is a great drive if you are up for a little fun Thursday, August 14th. We leave around 9AM and on the return - will hit up the Baja Cantina, one of my favorite events in Monterey that weekend.

I will be organizing the Drive for 2014 shortly. Send me a note if you'd like to be part of the emails for the gathering.

Last year - there was a Michael Schumacher sitting with Patrick Dempsey sighting at the Baja!

I'll be up there shooting the event for a Japanese magazine. Would be cool to meet up with some of you.
