    1969 911 Axle Hardware Plating?

    Can anyone confirm if the axle bolts and retainers were black or yellow cad in 69?

    I think black oxide for the bolts.
    Retainers are yellow zinc/cad

    Thanks for the response. I think the same but have some hardware that contradicts this and need to be sure. Anyone that can say 100%?

    As much as anything with Porsche is 100% I agree with Bryce. Where did you get the hardware that is different?
