Thread: The Return of Roger Grago's 73 RS GT

  1. #41
Here's an inside look at Jeff Zwart driving Roger Grago in his "new" 1973 911 RS/GT at the event. A big thank you to Terrie Grago, Jeff and everyone else for making this possible:

This event puts the icing on the cake for one of the best early 911 stories ever...so many guys contributing their passion and compassion for the project to refurbish Roger's original build. It makes a guy tear up, and want to wish Roger and Terrie nothing but the best.

I too have known Roger for many years and have bought a couple of cars off him. It was so good to see him so happy driving with Jeff in his car. I can only imagine what Roger was thinking as they took that first drive in it. Even with Rogers current health condition, I bet it brought back some great memories of spirited drives in this car with his R Gruppe buddies.

I hope a lot of his friends will enjoy taking him for many more runs in this car. I hope I get to see him at Cars N Coffee at least one more time when I next get to California.

Very touching. I don't know Roger but feel like I do through this community's generous spirit. What a nice story on his car

Old thread but does a roger live in SF? Years ago I bought a Nate Cantwell restored RS from Dick Moran (who ironically himself had bought it from one of my best friends) and he introduced me to a friend of his “Roger” who lived in SF, and had an RS.

    Is this the same person?
