Thread: new web site for Performance Oriented

new web site for Performance Oriented

I just launched a revised web site that includes new information (much has been seen here before) and has the beginnings of on-line parts sales of Weber specific items. Since the parts sales section is fledgling I am starting out VERY slowly here but will add quite a large amount of goodies from standard jetting components through the specialty items I produce.

What has been released is of good content but is lacking some pictures to help provide clarity to the verbal discussions in each section; a work-in-progress.

There are three sections with "place holders" that are rather lengthy and these are noted as "Pages in-development".

I hope the new site is of some use for all the flat six enthusiasts! Check it out at:

I'm trying to get may Webers back to original. Do you sell the banjos with the correct hose?

Also, I like the black manifolds. When were they used?

    Very nice site!
I think I finally managed to understand a bit of a carb function, even if english is NOT my mother language! So it speeks for itself: your epxlanations are very clear!

If I may make a couple of suggestions, I would have appreciated some colored drawings to complement the technical explanations. I know it is a huge time to spend.

I had found online a weber exploded view with HTML links to each part ref tag. If you plan on selling spare parts, it could be a "plus".

A few more pics would be great, but I'm sure it's in order.

    Bravo! Et merci!

    Olivier.

    Hi Olivier,

Yes, more pictures and some drawings are in the works. I was writing the info for a Weber book but decided to place it on the web. I needed to dump what was written to get some of it off my desk.

    Thank you for the feedback!

    Hi Richard,

Those manifolds are OEM for 911R, 914/6 GT and the 2.3 911STs when equipped with Webers. So, late 1967 thru 1972. Prone to cracking the bottom flanges. PMO sells (as will I in the near future) tall manifolds in aluminum that flow a little better than the OEM ones although they are not black.
