    No it is not gone. I Said i would buy it and ask him to confirm that it was Elephant hide (the add Said basket weave). This made him thank Me, and Said that now he will post it again for a higher Price.

    Sorry guys, thought it would be a good deal for someone with a 68. My guess is he got a much better offer and then couldnt find the bag. Who could have known the seller would be a flake.

    Sounds like I was not the only one that had an agreement to purchase. I was told, "You snooze, you lose" as I did not send payment immediately. He just said he decided to keep the item.

    Hmm, is it odd my original paint (and very rusty) '71E targa had this bag? What car did these come with? The car and bag are in Germany now, btw.
