Fuel tank breather setup for 1969

I'm looking for the correct fuel tank venting setup for a 1969 911. Any photos or description would be a huge help.

It sounds like the terminal vent house dumps out behind the drivers bumperette.

Am I also correct that there is no charcoal canister in 1969?

Does the brake fluid reservoir vent line connect into the fuel vent drain tube or does it exit the chassis separately and if so, where?

This photo is from a 1971 911T I believe and is not correct for 1969 but might be of good reference for someone.

    Correct.

    Correct

Yes it connects to the vent drain tube at the plastic "y" connector shown above in your picture.

For 69, the system is very simple. One line from the tank to the vent box under the cowl, a second line from the vent box to the "y" connector, and then a continuation of the vent line to behind the washer pump/reservoir overboard

Where does the small end of the "Y" go? It looks like it points up towards the brake reservoir...

Small end of the Y takes the brake reservoir overflow line.

Great, that makes it easy! I'll post a photo when I get it completed.

Not sure if this is 100% correct, but this is how my '69 turned out after cleaning up and replacing the tubing.

My tubing only had one of the "Y" connectors as shown in your first post. Beh's post shows the rest.

Screws for the filler neck hose clamps should face the trunk compartment .

The screws are oriented correctly - slots facing up , but the clamps should be pivoted on their axis so the screw body is on the trunk compartment side of the hose .
I think Porsche did not want the screws interfering with the hoses and wiring , and it's easier .
