    Ignition wire routing

    Above or below? Seen it both ways....

    I've been lucky enough to study two amazingly original early cars , they were below . I think you can see it below in the '67s sales brochure .

    In February, 1967, on the assembly line, it appears they were mounted below (after a beer and quick read of the paper of course)

    Can anyone post a pic of the left side of the motor to show how the spark plug wires run on that side?

    Those are very cool photos.
    I like the writing on the engine and trans, esp. the "11.S" on the trans.....must be my original driveline for 305811S. (ha!)
    Good to see the oil line attaching points, and the intake manifolds appear almost a 'natural' finish...
    Also the 'all-black' starter, and 'semi-polished' air horns.

    Starter has ALU unpainted end where it's bolted to the trans. Gordon
