    FS: @kapaza.be - 1969 S Coupe Sunroof Matching

Is this car familiar to someone of you?

    http://m.kapaza.be/nl/porsche/porsch...9-98045921.htm

    Not mine

I didn't receive the VIN yet from the seller.

Quite some things are wrong and should be tackled during a full restoration:
    - dashboard from a later model
    - sport front bumper
    - black horn grills
    - Fuchs wheels
    - steering wheel
    - radio
    - odo meter
    - seat linings
    - engine fan
    - windscreen wipers
    - ...

What else? A little bit overpriced imo.

If someone gets the VIN, please post. The flares, rearview mirror, lack of side view, etc has me wondering what we have here

Thanks beh911 for your rear view mirror remark.
I was thinking why Porsche AG confirmed they could not find any trace of a sunroof on their files.
Probably it is an aftermarket sunroof and most likely a 'Golde': in that case the sunroof motor is in front, at the rear view mirror. I will check with the owner. Imo a non factory sunroof decreases the value of the car significantly.

Owner replied to my email. Seems open to dialog about the car. Currently in Belgium.

Here is an ad for the car from 2003 when it apparently lived in Canada...

Mystery solved. Today I inspected the car and the large documentation file that goes with it.
And I found an invoice related to the installation of an ESRF (electric sunroof) from the "Sunroof Corporation America" (ASC) dating 1979. At that time it was 350 USD for the parts and 400 USD for the labour without paint. I didn't find any trace of a particular mark, but reading the article mentioned underneath it probably is a Golde or they must have developed and applied their own ASC product by 1979.

A nice article on ASC: http://automotivemileposts.com/aschistory.html

No, they were black plastic. I touched them. The right spare part for a 1973 model.
