If you have factory air you have a semi-rare car. Most a/c units were dealer installed. I know mine was.

I have option code E03 listed on my COA. The glass is tinted and is original but tinted windows is not listed on the COA. So now I see that E03 is factory air and tinted windows.
My a/c is a BEHR unit, I was told that a BEHR unit only came from the factory. Can anyone verify this?

My January 1972S has option group E03 by the original window sticker. It is the factory installed Behr air conditioning with the 2 condensers and the York compressor. It cost $912.
