    Calling All Bahama Yellow Experts!

Hi all, I'm having my 911 painted Bahama Yellow but there are two paint codes, 6605 from 1966 and 6805 from 1968 onwards.

Does anyone know the difference and / or have photos they could post?

Here's a couple of photos of the colour I'm going for. 6605 or 6805?

    Thanks in advance.

Not a paint expert but I believe 6605 and 6805 are the same formula

The first two digits of those color codes are the year.

I'm not certain but I think Porsche reset those two digits when they changed the list of standard available colors. For instance, for 1965 Porcsches the standard yellow was 6404 Champagne Yellow but in 1966 that became a special order color [16153] and the standard colors included 6605 Bahama Yellow.

Jim that looks amazing. Did you have it repainted and if so was it to the Glasurit formula or did you tweak it by eye?
Anyone had any experience with modern paints with these vintage colours?
