    MFI Fuel Injector Torque Settings

I think I did a pretty exhaustive search and could not find the torque setting for the Bosch MFI fuel injectors. My manual only covers the the newer CSI versions. Does anyone have a reference for the torque value for the injectors and the metal lines that attach to the top for a 1972 S? Also, can the copper sealing washers be re-used? Thanks.

Thanks for the help! Had not seen that unit of Torque before. Looks like 1 mkp = 7.2 Ft-lbs. So 22 Ft-lbs on the injector and 7 Ft-lbs on the Coupling nuts.

If anyone knows about the re-use of the sealing washers it would be helpful.

They can be reused, do it all the time.

Here is the tool I use to torque the injection pipes. I bought it for My MB 6.3 MFI V8 to get at the pipes way down in the V of the 8 cyl engine. Hazet 2745-1. G.Led

Injectors installed and no leaks. Thanks for all the help. I used a crow foot and compensated for the torque difference, but that Hazet tool would sure make things a lot easier.

Can someone help with the torque for the banjo bolt (circled below) at the fuel inlet of the injection pump?

I'd be less worried about the torque and more concerned about that gear type hose clamp cutting into the hose. The proper clamp has a smooth band against the hose.
