FS: 1969 Porsche 912 Original Paint, Time Capsule

I am offering my beloved original paint, 79k mile, 1969 Porsche Karmann Coupe, 912 5-speed manual here.

This 1969 Porsche was originally owned by Craig Russi of Sacramento California. Craig bought the car new on 8/28/1969 and maintained an incredible paper trail from 1969 until a few years ago when I purchased this car from him. It now resides in San Francisco. This car came to me with treasures like the original registration card from 1969, the original license plate frame from Wes Lasher Florin on 65th in Sacramento, California. Paper trail invoices for work done like adjusting the values from Niello and Wes Lasher in Sacramento through the 1970’s, all Blaupunkt books, keys, fuses, owner’s manual with dealer maintenance stamps from the 1960’s, 1970’s. and so on. The engine was rebuilt in 2007 by Craig and his brother in law and since then, just 4k miles have been put on the engine.

    Reason for selling:
I have owned the car for a few years and with 6 other Porsches in my garage, I am looking to diversify my collection.

    Sweet 69er 912!

Cali Plate from the Bay area and the summer of 69'....hell, the Blk Plate is worth half the asking price! Very nice car and well doced!

I think your selling it toooo cheap!

Sorry buyers, this one is too special at 59K..If it were mine I wouldn't sell it a penny under 75K. Leave the rock chips and drive this piece of Cali Porsche History!!!

    My two sense,

DMV: "Big changes were made in 1970 when the last black and yellow license plate was issued, making way for the new blue and yellow plate. Personalized license plates made their debut in 1972."

New current "Totally Vanity" on the plate...you want to see new Black "personalized plates"...go to Monterey Historic week!

BUT, having it say "Pors 69" is everything about the car. Maybe cause I'm a Cali-foreigner I think its cool.....just thinking about what happened in that neck of the woods! Would love to hear a few stories if it ever ventured (60-71) to the center of Hippieville USA!
