    Recent consensus was not put on 1969s. 1st was 1970 MY.

    Thank you. I thought MY 1970 was first- but then I saw this $190,100 unsold '69S on ebay.

    I guess I can now mount that ducktail I always wanted...

    OK, I don't recall ever seeing this plate/decal/sticker on my '67 or '69, both of which are USA cars. The cars are not currently available for me to look at. Where is this plate located on the car?

    67 doesn't have it, no federal standards yet, on 69 plate is on 'A' pillar below the check strap.
