Some old photos (1976) of my 69 911S. I owed it for 4 years while I was in Germany, flying helicopters for the Army. Loved that car and loved my time in Germany

Do us all a favor and please post again as a jpg.
I wouldn't recommend that anyone download any file (even a pdf) from an unknown source.
Tom,
Thanks for posting. I took your photos from the PDF and dropped them in here below.
I am the second owner of a 69S which was factory ordered new by a military guy, a friend of mine who is no longer with us. Polo Red, which yours looks like it may have been.
I hope you share more about your car with us.
Those are awesome...
Outstanding Tom !!! .... Welcome to the board

Thanks guys. I've been searching for the car on and off for many years. I sold it in 1980 as I prepared to return state-side, importation was pretty murky back then and I didn't consider bring it back. Wow what a mistake, I've never owned a car that was so much fun to drive. The autobahn was great but the mountains around Garmisch Partenkirchen were really what the car was made for, pure pleasure. The fun we had on weekend runs to Austria in the "S" have been not to match to this day. And winter was just as much fun, I remember driving through several inches of snow on ski trips, truly amazing how well the car performed "out of it's element". Ah the good old days. Tom
