    CoA, Auslieferungsbescheinigung, Geburtsurkunde, Kardex

I had always been very critical, what was written in the CoA that had been posted. Sometimes it appeared that CoA lists what the pictures show or what the owner claimed to be factory delivered options.

Now, that Porsche Deutschland offers the Auslieferungsbescheinigung for less than the former Geburtsurkunde, I order one for a car that came with a CoA.

I had to provide Porsche with the VIN, engine and trans number and pictures of the car from all corners and pictures that show the three numbers clearly.

The car was already discussed here:

the result:there are only minor additional informations in the Auslieferungsbescheinigung
factory AC US 1973, tinted glass, date of bill, dealer
AC+glass might been included in option group G03

    Thanks for posting this.

So this Auslieferungsbescheinigung is based on what exactly?
How is it different from a CoA, other than format?
Why is there an additional like this?

Dirk, thanks very much for posting all this information. It is quite instructive. Thankfully a bit more detail with the option codes and descriptions together.

But still no more than a COA, well not that much anyway. It does not state the selling dealer or the first owner, I wonder if Porsche AG would have the name of 1970s owners and choose not to release under some imagined Data Protection excuse ?

I'll do you one better Peter. Here is a translated PDF of the German document.

Still doesn't answer why they have this offering.

It may not be much different functionally but if it is consistently accurate it would definitely be more valuable than the US document in my book...

The "COA"' given out by North America agency used to be called "Zertifikat" by ROW agencies, later "Geburtsurkunde" and/or "Auslieferungsbescheinigung".
The source of what from they write (Kardex and factory built sheets) is for all the same, but the result differs, including eventual faults when interpreting.

The Auslieferungsbescheinigung of Porsche Germany is by no means more accurate than a CoA. Mine was corrected twice...
