    1968 rear window defrost nozzle

Can anyone please tell me how the rear hot air / defrost nozzles are activated in a 1968 car?

Does it just come on with the rest of the hot air when the heater lever is pulled on?

My outlet pipes have been blocked where they pop out at the back of the engine bay, at the bottom of the orange foam tubes, so I can't tell ...

    Cheers,

    Ben.
