FS: 1969 Porsche 911S Rusty Project

    For Sale: 1969 Porsche 911S Project $25,000

This is a very rusty project, with a bit of a problem from a very old fix. It was front clipped from a 912 back in the day, so has that 912 vin near the smugglers box. It has the correct aluminum plate up front, the numbers matching S engine, the matching numbers transmission, the correct S oil cooler lines, etc etc etc.

It has been titled in Iowa for many, many years. Yes, this is a huge project, and the front stamped vin is 912, but it is titled as the correct S Vin that's on the plate, and with all the other details - it is what it is - a 2.0L S that was clipped with a 912 many years ago. The engine is only the case and crank, along with the correct early S MFI pump (001), lines and throttle bodies.

Car is located in Iowa at a Porsche specialist shop, and can be viewed and put on lift if buyer wishes for inspection. I have literally HUNDREDS of detail photographs available. I have a copy of the Kardex that verifies the numbers, etc.

Yes, it was. Got lots of action right away, and a couple of the 'car buyer' guys, tried to weasel the buyer out, by offering more money, etc. No honor among some of those guys.

    Yes can imagine!
Where do you buy a matching 69S for 25kusd nowadays? Even with the 912 nose ;-)
