    Zenith mods for upgraded 2.2T

I'm restoring my '71T and I am now rebuilding the upgraded the 2.2. I've researched the modifications needed for the Zenith 40TIN carbs, but have seen varying recommendations. Parsing all the data, this is what I've come up with. I welcome suggestions.

Use: Primarily street driven, with autocross or track day several time a year; looking for a broad torque curve, rather than max horsepower.

Engine: 2.2, cylinders bored to 85 mm for a 2.3l; JE pistons that give a calculated 9.7:1 compression ratio; Solex cams; 7200 rpm max.

    Zenith Carbs:
    venturi: 32mm (stock is 27.5)
main jet: 135 (stock is 115)
idle jets: 55 (stock is 475)
air correction jets: 160 (stock is 195)
idle air bleeds: 110 (stock is 165)

    Thank you for your input!

Looks good to me. You will want to test for mixture strength for optimization so idle air bleeds from 90 through 110 would be handy to have, main air correction may be a tad small, perhaps a 170. However, your starting setup is close enough to enjoy without fear or major tweaks being required.
