    Oil hose(s) specs

Working on 2 911s... One with 26mm fittings and one with 30mm fittings

I have cut 30mm rubber hose and the i.d. is 20mm. I do not have cut 26mm rubber hose, and want to know i.d. -- logically it should be 16mm.

    Can anyone confirm?

Seems smooth finish rubber hose is hard to get in metric sizes, so will likely be adapting US hoses...

    Thanks Bill!

    Hi TechWeenie,

I have both smooth wall and wrap cured German oil hose. Will be happy to supply however much you would like. The smooth wall hose was not introduced until late 70s.

Are the lines you are working with crimped or assembled TCH fittings? Also what year car are you working with?

Hoses vary quite a bit depending on manufacturer. What I typically see are these sizes:

    DN16 - ID 18mm
    DN20 - ID 22mm

    Best regards,

    Brad
