I was once told a story about the crest, that it was the Owner of REUTTER karoserie that designed the crest for Porsche
and to that day today the REUTTER fam still own the rights to the crest, and get royalties paid every year
dont know if its a good story , buttt.... I have seen something, where I could have a feeling that this story is true
the grandson of Reutter makes porsche badges, and crest and sell them on shows and websites, " legally" as aftermarket / Repro stuff
as others get a lawyer on there neck just for using the letter P :-)

From the article linked in post #1: … Porsche presented the world’s first coat of arms with an integrated QR code, the so-called QREST, on April 1, 2019?

I've examined pictures of the "new" crest but can't find any QR code. Does anyone see it?

Here’s what appears to be the page for the QREST, https://newsroom.porsche.com/en/2019...can-17352.html, which itself contains a link at the bottom of the page to another page (porsche.com/QREST) This link however simply redirects to the Porsche homepage. So I’m guessing they took that page down at some point…
