Webasto heater large vent? hose routing

Tidying up my front compartment. Not 100% sure how the large vent? hose #51 is supposed to be finished. It goes through a hole in the floor into the smugglers box I believe. Does it just vent there or gets further routed? Took tons of pictures when I took the car apart but there is always something you overlook

    TIA

Sorry. After rereading your inquiry I realized you need a picture inside the smugglers box. However, there was a blue 912 sold on BAT today which I think answers your question. There was discussion about a hole in the floor pan. The usual BAT trouble makers were saying it was a rust hole. Seller finally pointed out that it was a drain tube through the floor of the smugglers box. I you look at pictures of the underside of the floor pan you can see two small holes on either side of the Webasto exhaust port. These appear to be drain holes and there is a larger tube to the right that I think constitutes the outlet for line #51. Looked through my pics but I don't seem to have one of an empty smugglers box which would be definitive. Hope Franz chimes in.

Thanks a lot for the picture. I have circled the hose in question. Does it just vent into the smugglers box or not?

the tube that feeds the carb. with air simply ends inside the smuggler box ..... just next to the louvers on the RHS wheel house--depicted is a 68 system...early cars had a nylon tube instead of the braided fuel hose(which is hard to find with correct ID/OD)
