    WTB: 1970 AM/FM radio

I am looking for a good example of the radio seen below for my 1970 911. It does not have to be in working order.

Hello, and thank you for this response. My apologies for letting so much time go by before I made a decision on your offer. If the radio you have pictured is still available, I would like to purchase it. Please let me know how to proceed. Many thanks!

enoz05, I see that I missed my opportunity to purchase this radio. By chance, would you have another? If so, I would purchase it. Many thanks!

I might have one thats USA spec think circa 70, but would need to double check the year
    — untested.

However they’re all five decades old and unless recently serviced and or sold with a return /warranty are a lottery due to certain components in them that degrade. I’ve only piped up to this wtb because OP don’t mind if working or not working* Even if tested at point sold can’t be sure how long it would last or even would be still working when it arrived by post.

I have amassed number of radio, radios cassette, station selectors, accessory cassette and even a standalone eight track in of various ages from long-hood era. Blaupunkt in storage with various accessories like faceplates knobs wires brackets glovebox booklets also period auxiliary speakers from era but hesitate to offer them FS here for that reason.

I’m a hobbyist unlike like some folks who evidently trade in radios etc at volume here and in other places.

    I could dig it out?

    Steve

*while I’m looking if others have a particular unit —a radio wtb that I’ve missed on that basis— I could check if I happen to have one (Generally my little stash are European/RoW band, not US band). They are together in same dry store — a place that’s not easy to access so I don’t often bother to go there.

I’ve many original reference technical books and original brochures from Blaupunkt so might be able to help validate if something that being sought in wtb that I have kicking around would be period-authentic for a particular year/car. I’ve often used those to help validate such thing to help sellers and buyers even though don’t usually sell stuff
