    Alternate Ignition Bolts and Sizing

    Hi all,

Finally took my ignition out a few weeks ago to get it rekeyed.
Luckily none of the shear bolts were in there anymore. I still had 1 rivet and an assortment of 2 bolts and a Philips screw holding the entire thing together.

I have the following questions now:
    1) can I skip adding the rivets back in or alternatively can I use bolts instead? I know there arent any threads in there
    2) what are the dimensions for the bolts?

For what it’s worth, this Allen bolt ended up fitting:

    No. 4407
    Metric Stainless
    Steel Socket Head
    Cap Screws
    M6 x 1.00P x 20mmAttachment 600619

    Attachment 600620
