Looking for headlight switch for 72T

My headlight switch is starting to fail so looking for a good replacement that’s been tested or working without issues. I believe the part number is 911.613.212.00. I don’t need the knob or harness, just a working switch. If you got an extra to sell please let me know. Thanks.

Hello Jasper72, I have 4 of them, however I think your part number is incorrect, it should start with 901 not 911. pm me if interested

No, his part number is correct. All of your switches are for early cars up thru 1969 912, not 1969 911s, though.

Sorry no intention to mislead - we all know Jim is the man when it comes to this stuff. Before my first post I originally googled the part number and found the confirmation on the part number below. This must be the first time the internet was incorrect.

When I saw Jims post I went back to the internet and found this statement in an ES registry string (for what it is worth) - " You should have a 911.613.212.00 for an Italian car. USA and Canadian cars had 911.613.029.00 as headlight switch in 72/73. "

I also have several of the 911.613,029.00 switch. Interesting, out of the ten or so headlight switches I don't see any 911.613.212.00. The part in the picture below was marked as being pulled from a 73 when it was pulled.

69 911 and thru, at least, 73 originally came with a "212.00" That number was superseded to the "029" some time later.
