    Horn Button

Last weekend I was going through stuff for a swap meet and remembered I had this horn button hanging off my bulletin board. It's been rattling around my garages for about 25 years and I always thought it was a 356 part. I googled 356 horns and couldn't find a match anywhere, so I searched 911 parts and still, no luck. I tried to fit it into an old 912 steering wheel I have and it popped right in. It's a friction fit rather than using the 6 tabs to attach it to the horn ring like the old one. It's got a flat face as opposed to the padded one I'm used to seeing.

Any ideas as to what this is? Is it aftermarket? I like the look of it and I think I'll keep it on there.
